EDUCATION & VISITS

At Donarbon we actively promote the importance of sustainability and how human activity affects the environment. We are keen for everyone to discover more about what happens to our waste and to think about ways of reducing the amount of waste we produce.

Visits and tours of our site are open to the whole of the Cambridgeshire community. Our Education Centre in the new MBT building opened in November 2009 and offers activities and workshops to schools and colleges.

The education centre was awarded the Learning Outside The Classroom Quality Badge on 7^th May 2010. The Quality Badge is the first national accreditation system for venues that provide learning outside the normal classroom setting and are accredited as offering good quality teaching and learning expereinces and are safe for the children. The Badge gives schools confidence that pupils visiting the centre will have a worthwhile educational experience within a facility which manages risk effectively. Education and Visits

The Education Centre is open between Monday and Friday, 9am –5pm but visits can only be organised by prior arrangement.
